I have a wonderful Interpretation for this Challenge from Brenda Caldow <lovetoscrapncard@gmail.com>
Thank you Brenda
For this challenge layout I have used the following
Ribbon
Brads
I'm so happy with how this layout has come up. Boy was I out
of my comfort zone doing it. I'm far from one who likes to use
the colors orange and yellow. I avoid them all the time and I
would not try to make them prominent in my layouts. In any
of my farming layouts I would go for the neutral earth tones
normally. So for me this is a big :) for the end result.
I have used Scrap FX for the wheat embellishment, KaiserCraft
rub on bird, journal tag, brads and pearls. The barb wire is from
Dusty Attic. The papers are KaiserCraft and Basic Grey.
I have also used Kaiser rub ons for the thistles and we do get
these in our paddocks. It is hard work farming, but my husband
lives and breaths this life. He also enjoys seeing me putting his
passion into my layouts.
The reason I have taken myself out of my comfort zone with these
colors is for a challenge with Njoyful Crafts - Colours of Nature.
I had to choose colors from a sunrise photo. I loved the photo and
thought if anything was going to challenge me it would be these
colors. Yes it was a challenge but a very enjoyable one with I think
a wonderful result.
I have so much enjoyed doing this layout from the photo colors. It was a lot of fun. I cant wait for the next one.
