JANUARY 2013 Challenge for $25.00 Voucher from Njoyfull Crafts

A big Congratulations to Brenda for Participating in this Challenge.
Brenda has a $25.00 Voucher to spend at
Thankyou for participating Brenda.

We are not quite in January yet, but this is the colours for January 2013 Challenge.
What better way to start the New Year with a Sunrise... Look at the Beautiful Colours in this Picture.

You can choose to use a 5 x 7 Photo or 3 smaller ones.. whatever you choose.

We have WHITE for the Sun; LEMONS and APRICOTS for the Sky; Some BROWNS for the Clouds and Sea; Then there is the Reflection of the Sun which even has some PINK / LIGHT RED.  And there is the GOLDEN Texture of the Whole Picture.  I am going to love this one.
Please remember to include the Embellishments as listed at the top of the blog.
Please email me your creation to ADDING  "CHALLENGE Jan 2013" in the Subject bar.

Looking forward to seeing some interpretations for these colours.

This my own interpretation

I have a wonderful Interpretation for this Challenge from Brenda Caldow <>

Thank you Brenda

For this challenge layout I have used the following

I'm so happy with how this layout has come up. Boy was I out
of my comfort zone doing it. I'm far from one who likes to use
the colors orange and yellow. I avoid them all the time and I
would not try to make them prominent in my layouts. In any
of my farming layouts I would go for the neutral earth tones
normally. So for me this is a big :) for the end result.

I have used Scrap FX for the wheat embellishment, KaiserCraft
rub on bird,  journal tag, brads and pearls. The barb wire is from
Dusty Attic. The papers are KaiserCraft and Basic Grey.

I have also used Kaiser rub ons for the thistles and we do get
these in our paddocks. It is hard work farming, but my husband
lives and breaths this life. He also enjoys seeing me putting his
passion into my layouts.

The reason I have taken myself out of my comfort zone with these
colors is for a challenge with Njoyful Crafts - Colours of Nature.
I had to choose colors from a sunrise photo. I loved the photo and
thought if anything was going to challenge me it would be these
colors. Yes it was a challenge but a very enjoyable one with I think
a wonderful result.
